My day
My alarm clock wakes me up, it's nine in the morning. Grab my Ipod that has all 3,000 songs on it try to decide on what to listen to while I eat my breakfast and get ready for school. Only one class today, seems like such a waste but class is class; it's important for me to go. Even more important because it's math. I find some cereal in the cabinets and make myself a bowl of Frosted Cheerios, the only thing that looked slightly appetizing in the morning. Found a polo shirt and a pair of jeans in my closet tossed them on and out the door to get to class. Took a drive down Hines Drive, it's such a peaceful drive as long as it's not randomly closed at telegraph. Luckily that didn't happen today. I make it to math class a few minutes after it started, it was one of the few days finding parking in the parking lot behind the Wellness Center was a challenge. Didn't miss much only a few questions on the homework. Started getting text messages from my girlfriend and my friend Nick who's just waking up. I had to resist the urge to respond back in class, I find it hard to text in class and try to pay attention to get the general idea. Class finally gets over and I can get back in touch with my friends to see what was going on. I couldn't talk for too long because it was Friday and I have to work then. When I made it home, and just as I finished my sandwich for lunch. I get a call from my friend Steve, he wanted to know if we could go get lunch at Genghis Khan. It's a really good Mongolian Barbeque Restauraunt that we would frequently go to. Sadly I had just finished eating my sandwich and I also needed to get into work. Work is nice because the schedule is very flexible and I can come in whenever I want to work. Today was going to be great at work, I was told that they would have the new cubes up and I would have a place to sit at again. This was horribly wrong. I get to work and my boss isn't in the office today, so I have no idea where to even go. I couldn't get any work done just working on the laptop. I missed having an actual mouse, keyboard or a dual monitor setup, but I made the best of it. Spent the day making sure all the virtual machines were updated with the newest antivirus software. Finally I get home and have some time to relax. Though it felt strange not having plans for a Friday night. Got a call from my good friend Isaiah, wanting to know if we could chill. I had nothing to do so he stopped by and we went to the Ivory Room, a pool hall that I've grown accustom to. We shot pool for maybe an hour and Nick decided to join us. We stayed until almost 2 am. It was a fun time, I won most of the games! Made my way home. It was an exhausting day, and I needed sleep. Put on some music and fell right asleep.
